ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:

  1. Conduct tryouts.
  1. Select team members and managers.
  1. Conduct practice sessions.
  1. Be in charge of team members and related personnel during the time they are participating in baseball related activities.
  1. Distribute game uniforms
  1. Be responsible for equipment.
  1. Work with the trainer to provide first aid for injured team members.
  1. Secure building and equipment after practice sessions and games.
  1. Assume any other other duties or responsibilities that may arise related to the program.
  1. Other duties may be assigned.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

Supervises all team members.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

One year certificate from college or technical school; or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

 

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.  Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.  Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

 

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry.  Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.

 

REASONING ABILITY

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
